Arterial Drive is a six member band from Montana. Despite their different influences and backgrounds, these musicians share the ability to GROOVE. With over 200 shows performed in 2018, Arterial Drive takes pride in the "tightness" of their songs. Audiences are captivated by the unique sound that includes sax, violin, piano and trumpet blending perfectly with sweet vocal harmonies and a conventional rock and roll rhythm section.
Konnor slays on alto and tenor saxophones bringing his tasty jazz licks into each set. Drew strums a mean guitar, sings his lungs right out and is one of the realest humans you’ll meet. Juanillo slapa-da-bass and will sooth all your worries with his voice. Josh is the energizer bunny, a human metronome, and has fantastic life wisdom tidbits to share. Meg rocks the fiddle, sings with powerful soul, shakes an egg sometimes, and really loves to dance. Ryan is a greasy trumpet player, spits mean rhymes, and will play the blues piano until the cows come home.
The energy of their performance is contagious and the soul and emotion of their original songs is deeply felt among listeners. Arterial Drive is a warm, authentic listen for your ears in a cold overproduced music climate.
This band always will be friends first, musicians second. Starting off jamming, playing small coffee shop and bar shows, they soon became a family of sorts...
“We are super lucky that we actually enjoy hanging out with each other! A band has to click in order to persevere and make an honest go at a music career! When music seems like an obligatory chore, we're doing something wrong. “
